Emotional Pain Intervention (EPI®) Online 50 hour Intensive Training

Your introduction to… A BrainChanging Conversation System to Play the Whole Brain for Quick and Lasting Change using Applied Neuroscience

This training course takes the evidence-based research on what makes psychotherapy most effective, and combines it with breakthroughs in the fields of affective, social and cognitive neuroscience to show psychotherapists how to connect with clients, integrate neuroscience concepts into what they say and do in sessions to facilitate neuroplastic change.

Many therapists came from a good training program that taught them about therapy and theory, and then perhaps you took other courses that prepared you to work effectively with one type of condition (Anxiety, Borderlines, Eating Disorders, or PTSD) or with certain population (e.g. Children, Families, or Couples) or you certified in a specific therapy or rapid change process (e.g. EMDR, Hypnosis, or RRT), but this EPI® online is different because it is a comprehensive, evidence-informed approach for a broad range of clients, presenting issues and it allows you to integrate and maximize all the prior training you have acquired into a new overall conceptualization about how to help others change.

Emotional Pain Intervention (EPI®) isn’t a therapy, it is an all-in-one neuroplasticity system that involves neuro-education, neuro-intervention and neuro-plastic healing and transformation to be done in context of real-world therapy.

Emphasis is on the simple and practical applications of neuroscience concepts, evidence-based tools and techniques incorporated into the therapeutic conversation about what to target and change for clients in each session.

Participants discover the necessary elements for making a therapy session, into a brain-changing conversation complete with adherence checklist to verify their work.

They will discover how to use specific interventions to target emotional pain in the brain and facilitate neuroplasticity to eliminate needless suffering, rewire neural patterns of thoughts, beliefs and behavior, as well as update traumatic or emotional memories.

The training will also introduce how to explain and teach clients to self-direct neuroplasticity outside of sessions, as this can enhance emotional intelligence, affect regulation abilities, improve interventions for transformational and incremental change.

The training explores how brain intervention in the context of psychotherapy and therapist directed neuroplasticity might be the best standard of practice for producing quick and lasting brain-change.

Just as a pain management physician might intervene on physical pain complaints, i.e. deadening a nerve or blocking it from firing, neuroscience breakthroughs in the last few decades, allow psychotherapists to intervene on emotional-action networks of the primitive brain and stop emotional pain.

Neuroscientist Joseph LeDoux wrote “psychotherapy is fundamentally a learning process for patients, and as such is a way to rewire the brain.” The course highlights what LeDoux and other scientists illuminate as the keys to having brain-changing conversations thereby facilitating chemical, functional and structural changes.

Delivery of the Training:
The online course is hosted on a well-designed, easy to navigate member site, where once registered, you can login with the email and password you set.

The course includes 50 hours of pre-recorded training audio/visuals so you can watch when it’s most convenient for you, access is 24/7 from the comfort of your home.

The video teaching lessons are organized into 6 Core Modules (previously recorded on Zoom) and each are about one-hour long.

The course keeps track of progress for you, so you know where you stopped and can easily pick up and continue, and it allows you to mark what you completed.

The self-paced learning of the Emotional Pain Intervention(EPI®) Brain-changing Conversation System material makes it so easy for you can go back and re-watch stuff if you’d like.

You’ll have access to the one-hour Play the Brain for Change Teleconferences archives from 2019 and 2020 these recordings are included in the EPI® Online Intensive Course so you can get all your learning completed in by listening or watching to these one hour teleconferences.

Students tell me the audio recordings of these group teleconference calls make it so easy to listen and learn while doing other things, such as walking, cooking, or driving.

With the completion of this online intensive training program, participants will have all the necessary hours for Applied Clinical Neuroscience Certificate plus may apply to be Certified in Emotional Pain Intervention (C-EPI®)

Another special benefit of doing this as a home-study, self-paced course, is that all participants while completing the 50 hours have access to 3 months of the new Brain-based Psychotherapist Accelerator Live on Zoom Group Coaching Calls with Dr. Elizabeth. These are 60-minute Group Coaching Calls focused on applications of EPI® neuroplasticity system to common clinical problems, emphasizing mindset, clinical tools, neuroscience integration and mastery required for your EPI® Certification.

And if you can’t attend live, you’ll get the recordings of the group coaching calls and Private VIP Brain-based Psychotherapist Accelerator Circle, so you can hear how others are applying the EPI® system with their cases, gaining competence, branding, up-leveling their practices for profits while obtaining certification and gaining mastery.

This Premier EPI course includes the Brain-based Psychotherapists’ Accelerator Program helps therapists excel and do their best work with clients!

They get the applied clinical neuroscience system to help clients without going back to college or reading tons of journal articles or books 📚.

Training helps them see how to incorporate cutting-edge neuroscience breakthroughs and a proven system for emotional pain intervention to Up-level in their practice!

Brain-based Psychotherapists enjoy using a step by step guidelines for brain-changing conversations that activate neuroplasticity for fast and lasting change!
